Established in 1977 New Guard Coatings is a privately owned business specialising in the sale of protective coatings for a wide range of market sectors for new construction and maintenance.

New Guard Coatings’ head office is in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. We also have a branch office in Barwell, Leicestershire. Together they provide a comprehensive service that covers the majority of the UK.

Our close association with our suppliers, in particular “PPG Protective & Marine Coatings, Sigma Coatings brand”, together with Rust-Oleum, means that our customers benefit from the best of both worlds. They get personal service and the benefit of our employees’ wealth of experience and expertise in the protective coatings sector. New Guard also gives a fast efficient delivery service, via our own fleet of vehicles, which only a company of our size can provide.

To support our local expertise and service level offering, we have the back-up of major international companies, enabling us to give unrivalled support with technical advice, specifications, project co-ordination and coating inspection work.
